Humans have historically have historically treated the ocean as part cafeteria, part garbage dump.  But slowly we're learning the ocean's bounty is limited. Is there is balance?  Can we secure food supplies and sustainable prosperity for fishing communities while ensuring that marine ecosystems thrive?

Phillip Levin, one of North America's leading scientists involved in marine ecosystem-based management, will offer his take on these questions.
